Perdue Wedding

When Holly and I first met about two years ago, it was like we were immediately meant to be friends.  She "got" me.  Which isn't always an easy thing. We were somewhat inseparable for those first few months.  We were working together and she was doing her best to make sure I was successful in a job I wasn't so thrilled to have.  During the course of our friendship, she shared with me her life with Donnie and Christian.  It was clear these two are the loves of her life.  So when she got engaged to Donnie I couldn't have been more excited for her.  When she chose me to be her wedding photographer, I was over the moon.  She's always been so supportive of me and my business.  I couldn't wait to shoot her wedding for her.

Donnie and Holly have never been the types to conform to the "norm".  Their wedding was no different in that respect.  She made sure her unique style was seen the details.  Instead of a traditional cake, Donnie and Holly opted for a cake that told their story.  Their favors were rice paper seeds and s'mores.  Their champagne glasses decorated with their favorite pet names for each other along with the corresponding animal, Mr. and Mrs. Meerkat.

However different their day may have been, there was one theme throughout the course of their special day.  They are loved and blessed and they don't take that for granted.

Vendors for the day:  DJ:  Robert Cade of Astro DJ's, Hair & Make-up:  Jessica of Kristal Lane Stylist, Dress:  Maya Couture, Cake:  Custom Cakes, Champagne Glasses:  The Mad Painter, Florist:  Norfolk Florist, Second Shooter:  The Amazing Angel Dibbs, Photo Booth: Kierstyn Peterson Photography, Photo Booth Operator:  Ashley Peterson

Here are a few photos from that fantastic day!
