I can’t really tell you when the photography bug bit me. I cannot remember a time when I haven't wanted to play with a camera. From my little 110 with the rotating flash and fun polaroids to getting the opportunity to use my grandmother's 35mm. I had the photography bug from a very young age and it stuck with me throughout my life. My children have always complained that they felt like they have always lived with the paparazzi.
Making a career out of it just seemed to make sense. Friends and family started to approach me about family portraits more frequently so I made a small investment into a DSLR. I started making a little money at it so I made a larger investment in it and myself. I started building my business by taking classes, mentoring with some phenomenal fellow photographers, building my portfolio, shadowing photographers so I could learn and grow from watching them. Then eventually started taking on clients. Once I felt that I could provide the type of work that clients would feel was the quality I knew I could be proud of.
I specialize in growth. I want to grow with you. Therefore, I shoot couples, engagements, weddings and families. That doesn't stop me from taking on other shoots that you may be interested in. I love to stretch my photography wings and dip into other areas but those are the areas where my work shines brightest. You can see samples of my work in my portfolio on my website.
